Warren Honored by Toombs County Family Connection!

The Toombs County Family Connection Board of Directors met Wednesday to celebrate their outgoing officers, including Vidalia City School’s Title III Coordinator and Social Worker Gwen Warren.

Warren, who has been on the board for the past six years, was praised by Toombs Family Connection Director Paige Williamson, who said: “Gwen has consistently demonstrated her commitment to this community by actively listening to the needs of families and children and being responsive to what she hears.”

Williamson went on to say, “Gwen has a heart and passion for this community, and its evident in how engaged she is in our collaborative and our community at large. We have been assured that this not a goodbye; fortunately, Gwen will still be an active member of our collaborative.”

Vidalia City School Superintendent Dr. Garett Wilcox said Warren’s contribution to the School System and the community is immense, “Gwen has provided immeasurable service to the school system for over 40 years, and her contribution to the community will be felt for years to come.”
